I can be retained to represent you as your counsel in your domestic relations litigation. In this capacity, I will advise you as to your rights and obligations under Virginia law. In addition, I will negotiate on your behalf and make all reasonable attempts to resolve the matter to your satisfaction without incurring the cost and trauma of litigation. I will also propound the necessary discovery to ascertain the other party's relevant information and legal positions in the legal matter. If the case does not settle, I am an experienced litigator and will represent you in any and all necessary court appearances. If a settlement is reached, I will draft the agreement, or review and revise the agreement drafted by opposing counsel. Finally, at the appropriate time, she will process the necessary paperwork to obrain the final divorce decree, or other court order. If the situation merits, I am also able to represent you on appeal.
